BusyBars at the Subway Cypher

I made my first appearance at Wreckshop's Subway Cypher held at Boston's Downtown Crossing train station. Downtown Crossing is a central point to Boston's underground train system known as the "T". Downtown Crossing connects the city's most used train lines which are classified by different colors. The red, orange, green, and blue lines are all connected to this station. Each individual color line takes MA travelers to and from different directions, parts of the city, all surrounding areas of Greater Boston and beyond. Its only fitting this is the connecting point for emcees from all surrounding areas, all colors as well. Every Sunday emcees from across MA, even as far as NH this week come to connect by enjoying two of Hip Hop's most important elements. Rapping and having fun. Hosted by Wreckshop Movement, highlighting a featured producer every week, this week beats where provided by Vatican Life's own in house producer Q Quick.

As shown in the picture above the vibes where high and everyone was having a great time. Until the police showed up... No sir... But for real, after a brief appearance of one loan piglet who told us to keep it down, then on the low said he was keeping "status quo"bounced we kept rocking. The nerve of dude too. Acting like this dosen't happen every Sunday in the same place. Oh and lets not forget how Wreck Shop and the Subway Cypher has been written about in every major paper media outlet including front page of the daily free Metro paper that you cant hope to not see everywhere on the T if your life depended on it. Anyway...

Wanna give a huge big major serious super over average shout out to the man himself, Justice Born, the founding member and leader of Wreck Shop Movement. This movement in my eyes is responsible for a huge resurgence of street level Hip Hop in MA. Not that it ever died or went anywhere, but Wreck Shop hosts Hip Hop or performance based events almost every night of the week. Mostly free too. Events where artist can entertain, and  express themselves, young to old, in peaceful environments with like minded people. Singers, poets, emcees, dancers, visual arts and anything I did not mention is what you will experience at a Wreck Shop event. Most recently Boston's premier breaking crew The Floor Lords showed up to the Subway Cypher adding another of the elements to the Cypher. Check out Wreck Shop Movement and all their movements online.

BusyBars, William Wallace of the Hashassins, and Big Brother Sadi
One more shot from the cypher. This is my brother William Wallace of the Hashassins. Be sure to listen to his radio show weekly on Wednesdays from 1 to 2 pm, called The Hip Hop Hour on Bay State College Radio. Next to him is your brother and my brother, Big Brother Sadi, a Wreck Shop leader and veteran. Both these two are amazing artists that I am a fan of and listen to their music. Rocked many a show with these two. Be sure to check out their music and any other artist's work by clicking on their name if it is in orange. That will link you to their art. Peace y'all. #BusyBars out.
