Updates, updates...

Peace y'all. Thanks for checking in with me. Unfortunately I have not done my part on the site for some time so here comes an overload of what I've been up to since we last talked. The Maine situation is looking well for starters. Lets go back to March...

Wansley Francois, AMB , Hostess Farah, Tharisha Green, Haitian Queen, her cousin, and Host Silky Slim down front.
I wanna say peace to Silky Slim and Farah of The Pozew Show , every Friday 7 to 9 on 98.9 FM or live stream at www.radio1boston.net . 617 690 2472 for shouts and request. That night I shared the studio with a few guests. Boston conscious rhyme veteran A.M.B. better known as African Born Man was in the house promoting his latest projects and an upcoming video out now available to watch as well as all his videos and visual releases at his YouTube page here, https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9y-UKBvqAnGCzmoT_3gt5A

The beauty known as Haitian Queen was in the house with her cousin and designer Wansley Francois promoting their new T Shirt Line available now. The lady in red is Tharisha Green the erotic poet. She was intense... Very colorful, beautiful, high energy person. She was sitting quiet and humbly ,then things got descriptive fast. We laughed, we cried, and had a lot of fun in our discussions. Blasted some #BusyBars music and promoted an upcoming show at Bay State College. I forget the DJ's name but he was going off that night. I thought I was IN the club. Pissed I have no visuals. Words do no justice for real. Can't wait to get back there. Silky Slim and Farah where great hosts. Peace Pozew Show. Later that night...

BusyBars, Host Ryan Dragon , and Relentless at the Niite Cypher Radio show on 91.7 FM WMWM Salem State Radio
After wildin out a little bit with my peoples from the Pozew Show in Mattapan, I decided to cover all grounds and show love to the MA north shore area's radio waves on the Niite Cypher radio show hosted by WreckShop member Ryan Dragon. Most of my WreckShop Movement fam and representatives hail from the area. With the Niite Cypher, host Ryan Dragon has a classic night time show which happens to be a Hip Hop show. Including great song selection by today's best underground, exclusives, classic Hip Hop, and conversation ranging from politics, alternative theories, and what kind of door handles you prefer. I confessed to my affection for marble oval door handles. Your turn... Relentless and I dropped some flows after some conversation and shameless promo. And I must say I was thoroughly flattered by the promotional quote provided by my man Ryan Dragon for this show. This man listens and understands my music and what I do. Ima just leave the quote right below for y'all . He said...

"BusyBars, an emcee representiing MA, my man stays busy wiith the bars to boot. Equiipt with a futuriistic style, hiis musiic centers around the importance of hard work and posiitivity. He sheds some liight on not only the issues, but the grace & beauty wiithin thiis world today, reminnding us that despiite our hardshiips, every moment is a blessiing."

There is nothing better for an artist than when you know you're understood. Got me looking like the native American from the 80s PSA. Click the link to listen to our conversation, flow session, and the whole show right here at : The Niite Cypher featuring BusyBars and Relentless  Peace to Ryan and Relentless, both of WreckShop Movement.

I made an appearance at the Conscious Invasion Show March 14th, 2016.

March 14th I stopped in at the Conscious Invasion show blasting from Boston. Checked in with my peoples First Lady Jaquleen, Mayor Thomas,  Raspy Racine, Brother Supreme, and DJ Top Shottah. I made a dope drop for them and their Artist Hour segment. Be sure to download the NightLife Nation Radio app to listen to the show along with all the other great quality shows on NightLife Nation Radio. The Conscious Invasion show is Monday nights from 8pm to 11pm. Peace to my Conscious Invasion show fam. I make random appearances on the show. Nothing but love over there.

Finally after all the radio appearences I rocked this show put on by my man William Wallace. One half of The Hashassins , WreckShop Movement member, and host to The Hip Hop Hour, Wednesdays from 1pm to 2pm on Bay State College radio. This was a such a great line up performed at The Spot, on Bay State College campus. Peace to all the performers who rocked that night. Be sure to click on all these artist's names to check out links to their music including, Paranom , Tashawn Taylor .

"Oh What A Night!", in Maine. Listen up I got a story to tell.

Peace yall. Last show was up in Maine and I a blast. This was my first show in Maine and things went pretty much as expected. Before I get into what I'm going to get into I want to send a big thanks and shout to my man Stay On Mars for putting me on to this new and quickly growing event. Also, peace to Ben Shorr part of the Rap Night Portland and Manchester family. BusyBars will be on Ben Shorr's upcoming Album. And Square One who is shown performing in the video posted below, as well as everyone who was in the house that night that I got to meet and effected me. Be sure to click on the name of all these artists to discover their music. So!
I prepped by practicing more during the day and listening to no music other than the songs I would be performing that day as I always do. I hydrated, ate well that day and the day before. I exercised during the day for the energies I need to adequately get busy and give the performance I prefer to give. My set list was in order for the DJ to just open the set list in order then we rock. Good right? Good. Ready.
So its time to go. I already estimated how long the drive would be to know when I should leave at a time that I would arrive early. Role up then role out. The trip is about an hour and a half and I'm cool with that. For the first half hour I decide to have a silent ride. I think about  what else I might want to do during my set, funny entertaining things to say that I have not said yet in between and maybe to intro songs. For a while and off and on I meditate on having a "flawless set", something I also regularly do before performing as well. I'm in good spirits and feeling groovy now. Yes groovy with three Os cause you gotta say it that way. Among my thoughts I'm thinking of known Maine references to have in mind. I try to think of more Maine references for a bit. I do consider myself a logical critical thinker and because of this it takes a short amount of time for me to realize I have no references to the state of Maine which leads me to ponder, " Are there ANY commonly known and or used references when discussing the great state of Maine? Because I live in Massachusetts I know at one point that ME advertised being able to grow up to about 98 plants on purchased land in certain parts of the state to encourage people to migrate there but other than that the answer is no.
No there are no commonly known references to ME. Then I remembered "D Money". On Jan 6th, 2016 ME republican Gov. Paul LePage told a town hall audience that heroin use is resulting in white women being impregnated by Out of state drug dealers with names like "D Money, Smoothie, Shifty- these type of guys". "They come up here, they sell their heroin, then they go back home. Incidentally, half the time they impregnate a young, white girl before they leave, which is a real sad thing because then we have another issue that we've got to deal with down the road". Yes these are direct quotes. In a typical and stereotypical old white man political cowardice fashion, all bases were covered.  Step up to plate, and identify the enemy. D Money, Smoothie, and Shifty. "Those type of guys". Now you can get the fuck out of here if you didn't assume he was talking about three men of color. The names are fucking hilarious, mostly Smoothie, and in all honesty Shifty could be a 40s white male gangster with a tommy gun who says "see" at the end of every sentence. We know the picture the Gov is trying to paint.  Now walk to first base and identify the threat of the enemy. "They are coming to our home to sell drugs and poison our communities that were pure and innocent a thousand generations before!" Advance to second base. "So they poison us then take our money and leave !"(irony).  Easy steal to third with hate and fear building up blinding defensive players. A common but effective diversion. Now take it home with an exaggerated personal fear that touches home for his supporters. " Half the time they impregnate a young white girl", not a girl from the state of Maine, a "white girl".- "which is a real sad thing because then we have another issue that we've got to deal with down the road". Now with that last one I don't know if he means this will create a child who might be born to parents who live a dangerous life style, if this means that the child might be born an addict, if this means that the child will grow up to be a drug dealer from NY and CT who makes regular trips to ME to sell hard drugs and go back with the money, if the child might be put up for adoption and raised by the state, or if it will be a problem just because it is a child of color. He does not say if D Money and them are going to impregnate addicts, those involved with the drug trade, or any other innocent citizens. I don't know if he is worried about the well being of the child or sees the child as a problem simply because the child is born. Just "young white women". I mean come the fuck on, he might as well have said, "savage niggers are coming to rape YOUR DAUGHTER and erase your image from existence". (irony)
So back to my story... And yes all that did go through my head just off the thought of "D Money". So I reach the second of three toll booths on my journey to the bordering state, because we live in a free country. I asked the attendant if and how many more toll booths there might be because I was not sure how much more physical cash I had on me and might have to stop before moving on. I'm making great time. I did burn minutes before reaching that toll and DID have a short lived thought before the toll about the sent still coming from my vehicle and could be bad but did not give it more thought. As some of us know, our first and or gut instinct is never wrong.  Right after I paid the toll attendant who clearly looked uncomfortable after our interaction the blue lights go off behind me. I'm like "no sir" I was JUST thinking about this bullshit. So this pig comes to my window, and I ask him why he pulled me over before he could speak. He tells me its because I was going 55 when I should have been going 35 going into the toll. So basically he told me he pulled me over because I left the toll booth too fast ? Yes. In my mind I'm like fuck it I have nothing I should be out of here in fifteen minutes. Naw son... When I seen his boy pull up on some Rambo shit I knew I was in for the full treatment and did not know if I was going to drive myself from the side of the road that night. He asks me to step out of the car and says he is going to search because the sent of tree gives him probable cause in the state of ME. I step out and go to the front of my car. I told him there I had a bag of tree in the whip since he was already searching. Now it gets funny... The pig gets his dog and tells me to step back like five feet from the dog for my safety. I step back about fifteen feet cause I don't trust these mfs for a second.  He then tells me that the dog is not certified to search for weed. Ok that's good cause I he don't have to be since you know I have it and where it is after I told you. He says the dog is certified to search for heroin and crack cocaine. Now I'm like wtf? The pig clearly pulled me over because the sent of my car and now he searching for heroin and crack cocaine? THAT escalated pretty fast like 0 to 101. At first I thought he wanted an autograph and was pissed cause he realized I wasn't Chingy, but he was really looking for D Money the whole time! This mf went through all my shit. I had so much material in the car such as CDs, CD inserts still in the print order box with receipt of purchase that day that he ransacked that would tell a detective what I was doing. After a few minutes I knew he was going for broke hard all up in and under my hood cause he knew he wasn't finding shit. I never broke a sweat or breathed with a heavy chest or nothing because I refuse to give them that satisfaction and also as an indication I am not nervous and have no reason to be.
I'm instructed/allowed to get back in MY vehicle by these bitch ass state employees I help to pay for from each check, and sit there for about ten to fifteen more minutes. I'm assuming they are listening to my CD AGAIN because ALL my shit was ran already. Punk ass cop comes to my window with my ID and my window down, and asks me to put my window down so he can give me my ID. I say "And how do you want me to do that since they car is off?". He tells me to turn the car on. Clearly he did not want to tell me I was about to drive off and clearly I wanted him to tell me I was about to drive off. Neither of us H.A.Med for that but I knew I was straight since his boy had already drove off. Lastly, when my engine was on I asked the pig where the sign was that I should have seen that tells me I should be going 35 because I sure as hell didn't see one. I was looking around while they searched my car and saw the behind of a sign in walking distance where I drove from the toll. I told the pig I was going to look at what the sign said to confirm what he said. Things get funny again. He tells me it is unlawful to walk on the highway. I already told him I was going to walk behind the guard rail and the sign was about twenty feet away so there was no danger. Plus if the cars should be going 35 in this zone heavily lighted area I should be fine. The pig then tells me there is a fence twenty feet into the highway from the guard rail. He says it is unlawful to walk anywhere between the median and that fence. LOL! He then says the only way I can go back to look at the sign is to get off at the next exit, turn around and get back on the highway and pay the toll again to see what the sign says. He is clearly trying to discourage me from looking at the sign. I asked him to clarify why he pulled me over to make sure I understand. Then he changes his story up after I told him I was going to look at the sign behind us. He goes from saying I left the toll too fast to, I did not slow down fast enough going into the toll. GTFOH. A day in the life yall. We keep it moving though. #BusyBars music yall. Peace all.

Visuals for my NEW upcoming EP "WHAT I'M ABOUT", out officially soon, available in the street now. "WHAT I'M ABOUT", is a collection of songs that deal with topics I'm passionate about, and outline what my general message is. "WHAT I'M ABOUT".  I make alot of fun music, and try to make my music thought provoking. "WHAT I'M ABOUT" is a fraction more of what I am about and paints a picture easy to understand me. Of course a dope selection of beats spanning from across the globe. Production credits include a group of producers I've BEEN building with for sometime now, that you didn't know about. Production by Soul Nomad, of the Netherlands on "LoveSong Pt 2". A continuation from "LoveSong", my ode to Hip Hop made years back recorded @ DJ Reel Drama's lab in Boston. Oleg Krylov, also known as DRAY YARD famous for his "Hand Gerenades and Seranades" compilation series that features top underground artists worldwide contributes sounds on " Hold On". Tony Beatzz of Poland provided music for my favorite track on the EP "WHAT YOU TALKING BOUT" where I tackle a handful of recurring issues in the media and everyday human life most don't know how to start to address, and or straight up avoid and supress. There's "AUDIO CRACK" by my brother Crack Sizzlack of Starving Artists Entertainment, who's album also titled "Audio Crack" is available now. DJ Pooh Bear of Los Angeles CA, produced "You Are My High", and I produced a song too. More news and official release date to come. #BusyBars music y'all. Peace

Pasquarosa, BusyBars, and Quite Nyce --- "Rain Will Fall"

Peep the video I did for my track "Rain Will Fall" a few years back when I was making music exclusively with my producer brother Legendary MasterMind. Him and I collaborated with Quite Nyce from Radix  and Pasquarosa who provided the hook and ultimately the name of this song. "Rain Will Fall" is a song asking for forgiveness. Each emcee has gone through change for the positive and express regret for a past they caused pain to loved ones.  The video was shot in few different locations between Allston and Somerville, MA. The video was shot and edited by Seih Samura. "Rain Will Fall" is available on my Sound Cloud page as a free download here. https://soundcloud.com/busybars/rain-will-fall-with-quite-nyce .  #BusyBars music y'all! Peace.

So much music being released before the end of the year. Of course all my fans familiar with me already know you can find all my music at https://soundcloud.com/busybars  (over 40 songs most downloadable) and that you can follow me on twitter at https://twitter.com/busybars . And that's cool. But now I am going to flood all my fans, and listeners old and news' ears with the music you have demanded from me. I'm always told and asked for more music and projects available online so here it is.
In the next months the releases of the mixtape solely produced and mixed by myself will be out called "360BARS". Yes just that. The "360BARS" mix tape is 360 bars of my most popular and favorite verses edited, remixed, re edited, smacked up, flipped and rubbed down, in a deep non stop blend of #BusyBars music.
